Well i woke up the next morning feeling kinda drowsy..my mom woke me up..so i took a look at my phone to make out what time is it..my phone clock shows that its only 8.30 in the morning so i told my mom off saying its to early to be getting up but suddenly she laugh..while im still drowsy and kinda blurry for a moment ask my mother what is so funny about what i said, well for starters its already 10.30 in australian time. The clock in my phone was set in Malaysian time. What a huge embarrassment. I tried to cover it up by going back to sleep and pretending that any of that incident never occur however knowing my mom so well i knew she would talk about it the whole time i'm going to be there and she won't let go of it..So i woke up dragging my feet across the room finding my towel and prepare myself for a nice bath. Well nice isn't what i was going to get..As i open my socks and put my feet and the bathroom tiles, I instantly let out a nasty howl..Damn it was cold. How could these people bath in such a cold condition. I was shivering like i was going into a shock or something. But still i need to take a bath. I gather my courage and brave all odd and just took a shower. I make sure that the water is really-really hot before i step into it. Ahhh..what a nice warm bath it was..well it was before i step out of the shower that is..the warm water did nothing to prevent me from feeling the icy cold air running through my skin. i need to wear my clothes, and fast too. If there was an event in the Olympics where contestant have to race to put their shirts and pants on, i think i could have won first price for that event because i took no liberty of willy-Nelly when i put on my clothes that day.
After my 'refreshing' bath i went downstairs and off we go to the Australian Defence Force Academy(ADFA) where my dad is currently studying. The reason why we all are there that day is to make sure that my little brother gets his haircut. Its not fair that i am the only one who should have my hair trim and proper while he gets to keep it long and out of control,(the kind that i like to keep my hair with). The trip was okay, still impressed by the scenery..All the way my mom keep pointing out to all the dead kangaroo carcass. hehe i guess she hopes that it would impress us to see some dead kangaroo laying bloated at the side of the road. At ADFA i just lazy around the common room where my dad used to relax when there is no classes. The place is kinda deserted, maybe because its still holiday for the students. What a coincidence, I am on holiday too =)
After the haircut, we just when for a cruising around the country side. How peaceful it makes me feel looking at all the trees and flowers that are blooming during the spring. I wonder i will ever get the chance to feel this peaceful in my own country. Has this visit turn my perspective about foreign country. Has it change my mind about furthering my studies and accept the offer to study in UK. I don't know. Maybe more time in this country would make me sure of what I'm feeling deep inside. This country had help me to tap into my inner thoughts and find out what is it that makes me happy the most. Before i arrive home,my dad took a route near the RAAF airfield. How lucky it was because the time we make it to the road an aircraft was landing. If i was not mistaken its a C140-globemaster. I im interested in aircraft so i took a video of it landing. Feeling satisfied, my father head back for home. all the way home i admired the beauty of the video of the shot i just took.. and i'm going to share for all to see =)
well the night went by fast. i did absolutely nothing. well tommorow is going to be the last day of puasa. I wonder what tommorow has installed for me? Just thinking about it makes me smile. Its like facing new challenges everyday while gaining experience and memories.
to be continued....
